Karmina Brain: 20 questions about knowledge, consistency, and application.
Karmina Brain is the name of the cross-cutting program with which we connect the knowledge of the organization with the real work. We work with our Brain and help each company to build its own, adapted to the teams, tools and processes it already has.

The Foundation orders the material; the Brain keeps it coherent, adapted and connected.
It is not a separate product or deliverable. It is the service layer that incorporates sources, permissions, context, criteria, versions and updates so that knowledge reaches the right place and is applied continuously.
01 · ENTENDRE
Definition, utility and fit.
Questions that help distinguish a real need from a trend or a specific tool.01What is Karmina Brain and which parts does it connect to?
+
Karmina Brain is the name of the cross-cutting Karmina AI Studio program that connects sources, criteria, people, processes, tools and agents. We already work with our Brain and help each company to build theirs so that knowledge can be recovered, adapted and applied consistently.
02What corporate memory problems can you solve?
+
Resolve dependence on key people, loss of context, duplication of responses and difficulty knowing which version is valid. It also reduces the cost of preparing each new agent from scratch.
03How does it differ from an intranet or a business search engine?
+
An intranet or search engine can host and find documents. The Brain connects these documents with questions, processes, permissions, criteria and use; it knows what feeds each system and who assumes ownership.
04How do the Knowledge Foundation and Karmina Brain work together?
+
The Knowledge Foundation gathers, orders and validates the material needed for a use case. Karmina Brain keeps it consistent, adapts it according to the format, team, department, agent or function, and connects it with the processes and tools where it is to be applied.
05When would it be premature to build a central corporate layer?
+
It is not a priority if there is only a simple use case or there are no owners of the sources. Building a core layer before understanding needs can create one more repository, not a useful memory.
02 · PREPARE
Knowledge, team and responsibilities.
What must exist before activating technology, budget or automation.06Which domains of knowledge should be connected first?
+
It is necessary to define use cases, knowledge domains, canonical sources, identities, permits, review cycles and priority rules. You also have to decide what will not be part of the Brain.
07Can you work with SharePoint, Drive, CRM and other repositories?
+
It can connect document managers, wikis, CRM, projects, databases and validated content. Not all data must be copied: information can be retrieved from the source system while preserving controls.
08Who is responsible for each domain of knowledge?
+
It needs owners by domain, technical managers, users and data governance. Experts resolve conflicts; technology guarantees identity, integration, availability and observability.
09How do people and agents use the Brain?
+
The AI helps to retrieve, relate, summarize and adapt information to the context of the query. It can also detect gaps or candidate review materials, but it does not have to declare itself that a source is official.
10What decisions about authority and access remain humane?
+
People approve sources, permissions and policies; they decide exceptions and validate changes with impact. They also define what information requires an expert conversation rather than an automatic response.
03 · BUILD
Tools, integration, time and measure.
Practical decisions to turn the idea into a system that can be used and evaluated.11What technology architecture does the brain of a company need?
+
Components are chosen according to identity, permissions, connectors, hybrid search, traceability, cost and portability. The Brain can combine tools; the architecture should not depend on a single model.
12How do you keep the permissions of the original systems?
+
It connects to current systems through connectors and access layers. Each connection must define read or write, refresh frequency, errors, and behavior when the source system is unavailable.
13How long does it take to have a first domain connected?
+
A useful first version focuses on a specific domain and questions. The evolution towards more areas is gradual because each source and permission must be validated.
14Does Karmina Brain have a separate cost?
+
Karmina Brain, as a cross-cutting program, does not have a separate fee because it is not a product or an isolated deliverable: it goes explicitly or implicitly within the services of Karmina AI Studio. What is budgeted are the specific jobs that each company needs — strategy, knowledge management, integrations, agents, training or maintenance— and, where appropriate, tools and infrastructure.
15How do you measure whether corporate memory is really useful?
+
It is measured by question resolution, search time, reuse, appointments, news, incidents and coverage. Also for the speed and quality with which new agents or processes can be activated.
04 · GOVERN
Risks, tests and evolution.
How to reduce errors, learn with a pilot and keep the system useful when the context changes.16What are the risks of centralizing access to knowledge?
+
Risks include overexposure, old versions, walk-in responses, and dependence on a supplier. Also confuse technical connection with governance: being able to access does not mean having authority to use.
17How do you prove that each profile only sees what corresponds to it?
+
It is tested for domains, profiles, and questions, including different permissions, conflicting sources, and plugin drops. The first uses can be in reading and with answers always cited.
18How do you learn, correct and forget the Brain of a company?
+
It needs continuous governance: owners, revisions, metrics, alerts, change log and withdrawal of sources. Memory is only reliable if it can forget or correct in a controlled way.
19Is it possible to build one for a small business?
+
Yes, but it has to start small. For a SME it can be a layer on the sources you already use, with a critical domain and few permissions, avoiding an oversized corporate platform.
20How does Karmina help a company build its Brain?
+
Karmina starts with the knowledge and processes that the company already has, identifies what is missing and activates a first use case. It then connects criteria, people, tools and agents with permissions, tracing, Human Gates and an architecture that can grow without losing coherence.
