We look for a Voice AI Engineer profile to create real-time voice experiences connected with knowledge and tools. We care about technical quality, but also conversation: latency, shifts, interruptions, confirmations, accessibility and referral to a person.

What are we looking for?
- Experience with streaming audio, WebRTC, WebSocket or SIP integrations.
- Knowledge of speech-to-text, text-to-speech, shift detection and interrupt management.
- Ability to integrate voice agents with APIs and enterprise systems.
- Experience measuring latency, transcription quality and conversation success.
- Criteria to confirm critical data and avoid actions based on ambiguous interpretations.
- Sensitivity towards privacy, recording, consent and accessibility.
What are you gonna do?
- Design the architecture and state of voice sessions in real time.
- Implement turn-taking, barge-in, silences, repetitions and recovery in the face of failures.
- Connect the conversation with authoritative sources and tools.
- Create referral routes to people with enough context.
- Test accents, noise, speech speeds, ambiguities, and loss of connection.
- Collaborate with conversational design, evals and governance.
- Document limitations and conditions of use before each deployment.
It will impress us especially.
- A functional voice demo with real integration.
- Experience with telephony, contact center, multilingual support or accessibility.
- Have designed a good way out when the system doesn’t understand, rather than hiding the error.
