Between 2023 and 2026, many organizations went from testing generative tools to wondering how to incorporate them stably. The first conversations were about prompts, licenses and demos. Soon, deeper questions emerged: what data we can use, who validates the result, how we integrate the AI into a process and what the team must learn so that the system does not depend on a single person.
Karmina AI Studio is born to answer this second stage. Not to add a technology label to Karmina, but to bring together in the same space the capabilities that an actual implementation requires: agents, services and training.
The origin is an agency that already worked with real processes
Karmina started the 2015 as a marketing and communication agency. This trajectory has forced us to understand brands, public, campaigns, budgets, data, calendars, equipment, approvals and results. It has also taught us that a technology only adds value when it fits into a particular operation.
When the generative AI came in hard, we didn’t just see it as a tool to create more content. We saw a new layer capable of connecting knowledge, executing steps and assisting decisions. But because this worked we had to keep what we already knew about strategy, branding, rights, quality and customer relationship.
Why a studio and not just an agent catalog?
Because agents are a part of the answer, not the universal starting point. Some organizations need a diagnosis first. Others must form teams, order documents or define a policy of use. They already have a solid foundation and can build an agent connected to their tools.
The Studio concept allows us to gather three entrance doors:
- Agents, to assume delimited processes with sources, tools, permissions and Human Gates.
- Services, to diagnose, order, design, implement and govern.
- Training, so that people can use, review and maintain the capacity created.
Public navigation keeps these names clear so that no one has to interpret what lies behind an abstract label.
The Knowledge Foundation appeared before the agents
In the early projects we found that the problem was rarely the lack of a powerful model. The challenge was to know what information had authority, what version remained in force, who answered it and what had to happen when the sources contradicted each other.
From here she is born Knowledge Foundation: the process for ordering the minimum basis that a person or an agent needs to work. This layer includes sources, managers, permissions, vocabulary, examples, risks, and tests. Without this basis, the agent can respond with fluency and continue to err on what is proper to the organization.
Taker, Shaper and Maker: not everyone has to build the same
We also needed a simple way to explain different degrees of adoption. Taker, Shaper and Maker These are not levels of prestige. There are three ways to choose a proportional answer.
A Taker organization uses well existing capabilities. A Shaper adapts models and tools to your knowledge and flows. A Maker builds a capability of its own when the process is strategic enough. The same company may occupy different positions depending on the department or task.
The AI had to retain human responsibility
We didn't want to build systems that looked autonomous by hiding all the validation work. That’s why the Human Gates is part of the design. The agent can investigate, prepare, compare, or execute within defined limits; a person continues to make sensitive decisions, exceptions, and the end result.
This way of working connects Karmina AI Studio with Utopiq, which reinforces the view of ethics, sustainability and governance, and with Criterio, which provides brand direction and design. The AI does not live separate from the rest of the decisions of the organization.
What we want Karmina AI Studio to mean
We want it to mean applied capacity. A place where an organization can arrive with a still imperfect question, understand its starting point and move forward with an assumable combination of criteria, technology and people.
We do not promise a standalone company or a collection of demos. We build useful, governed and measurable systems. Sometimes the result is an agent. Sometimes it is a Master Plan, a Knowledge Foundation, a training program or a new way of working.
Karmina AI Studio exists because the important question is no longer whether a company can use AI. It is what capacity you need to build, with what knowledge and under what responsibility.
